Where are you located?

All of our operations and employees are based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Your services will NEVER be routed out of the country.

What are the terms of your contracts?

Our Service Agreements run on a 28-day cycle. There are no long term commitments or termination fees.

We are in a hurry, how long will it take to get our customized service set up?

This can vary depending on the complexity of your account and services needed. Most accounts can be set up in 24-48 hours. 

Who will be answering my calls?

100% of calls are answered by our team of agents in our state of the art facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our agents are the best in the industry and truly set us apart with a standard of quality that you won’t find anywhere else.

How are my callers going to reach your operators?

Allegheny Answering Service provides a phone number to forward phone lines to us or you are able to advertise the number provided and it will directly ring to an agent.

Can you use our existing online software to log caller data?

Definitely! Our operators work on dual-monitor systems that are connected to high-speed internet. Our operators can incorporate your current system as well as usernames, passwords, and instructions to give your clients the best possible service.

I'm starting a new business, so my call volume will be low. Are there minimum usage requirements?

There are no minimum usage requirements. Whether your company has one employee or thousands, we can develop a custom service package to meet the needs of your business.

I'm worried about overage fees, are there usage limits?

With our pay-as-you-go plan, you only pay for what you use. And if need be, we can work with you to develop a more cost-effective account. That is our Best Rate Guarantee!

We have multiple people on-call. Can calls be routed dependent on the type of call and time of day?

Yes! We will customize your account to get the right information, to the right people, at the right time.

Will we have to pay extra if we have a large number of on-call employees?

No. We do not have any surcharges or extra fees for the number of on-call employees, doctors, etc.

Can you send messages to multiple people over different communication methods?

Yes! We can call your maintenance tech, text their supervisor, and email a recap to the manager. Whatever you need, we can customize your message delivery protocol. You can update this at any time as your business grows.

Will I be charged for after-hours, weekends, or holidays?

Absolutely not! Our pricing is for service 24/7/365.

I am out of state, does this make a difference?

No, it doesn't! Once your calls are forwarded to us, all of your scripting appears right on the operator's screen with the correct timezone. With your information, we know exactly how to answer, what information to take, and what to do with the calls. We answer for accounts all over the United States, from Hawaii to New York.

When will you answer my calls?

We're here to answer all calls 24/7/365. Whenever you need us to answer, all you have to do is forward your phone line(s). Whether it's after hours, the weekend, 24/7 call over-flow or you just can't pick-up in time. Depending on your phone, you can also set it up that when you hit decline on your cell phone, it will send the call over to us to handle.

We'd like the appearance of an on-site receptionist. Can you route our calls to the correct people in our office?

Virtual office is a great way to save money. We can simulate the feel of a front office receptionist while transferring calls to the sales department, or emailing the controller, all customized to your business.

What if I need to make changes? Is there a cost involved?

All companies change, and we are ready to update your account when needed. There is no cost involved for account updates, and they can be requested via phone, email, or even online. Via your online account, you can manage the appointment book, on-call schedule, add temporary instructions, and even see all of your messages for the past month with logged history.

How do I know that my data and my callers' data will be kept private?

Allegheny Answering Service is HIPAA and PCI Compliant. All calls and details are recorded and protected for 90 days and securely protected. However, any credit card payments or social security numbers taken are not recorded. The facility and its employees are monitored 24/7/365.
